Workplace Medical Corp. is looking for skilled Occupational Health Physicians to join our medical team to conduct return to work assessments and file reviews nationally.
Physicians must be in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons and be committed to conducting objective evidence based and impartial examinations by phone with treating physician/provider and occasionally in-person with the employee. They must have a solid understanding of disability management and occupational health related issues and be able to provide comprehensive and concise reports clearly answering the referral questions asked, within 2 business days of the assessment.
In most cases, the average assessment time process is approximately 1-2hrs. The questions from our clients are typically focused on whether the employee can return to work, in what capacity and whether there are any permanent or temporary restrictions and limitations. Assessors do not provide treatment. Calls will be arranged around your availability and will occur typically during business hours, Monday to Friday. Our hourly rate for this service is between $195 - $225 depending on level of experience.
