Job Description - Family Physician
Infinity Health is seeking a motivated Family Physician to join our expanding team across Canada, including Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, and Vancouver. We are accepting resumes from new graduates, internationally trained physicians, and experienced physicians looking for a change. In this role, you will be delivering compassionate, holistic care. You'll collaborate closely with a dynamic multidisciplinary team that includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, physical and occupational therapists, counsellors, and pediatric care providers.
Role Responsibilities
- Collect and review medical information from patients, families, or other medical professionals.
- Examine and assess physical and mental health to diagnose conditions and injuries.
- Develop treatment plans, prescribe and administer medications or therapies.
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostics.
- Consult with medical professionals to evaluate patients' physical and mental health.
- Counsel patients and families on health, lifestyle, and wellness strategies.
Qualifications
- Applicants must obtain the College of Family Physicians Certification ( CCFP)
- Applicants must be registered members in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in their respective province. ( CPSA, CPSO, CPSBC)
