Explore an exciting opportunity to become a subacute hospitalist our Department of Complex Continuing Care and Rehab! We are looking for dedicated full-time CCC & Rehab hospitalist to join our collegial group at the subacute campus of Waterloo Regional Health Network (‘WRHN’, formerly known as Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital).

WRHN has three campuses, two which provide acute care services and one which houses the subacute population. The focus of our subacute campus - WRHN @ Chicopee (formerly known as Freeport Campus)- is to support patients through rehabilitation and recovery. Our campus has in-house phlebotomy, x-ray, ultrasound, EMG access. We have access to physiatry support and other all other consultants are available remotely at the WRHN acute care campuses.
The ideal job start date is Sept 15, 2025, however this can be delayed to as late as Oct 3, 2025, depending on the availability of the successful candidate.
As a Hospitalist at our WHRN @ Chicopee campus, your responsibilities would include daily rounding Monday to Friday on approximately 30 - 34 patients, attendance at weekly rounds, and at multi-disciplinary family meetings. Compensation is competitive and will be discussed in person with any interested in candidates.
The successful candidate will be a Family Physician with solid interpersonal and clinical skills. Hospitalist experience is preferred. The candidate must possess or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ontario with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
