Greater Sudbury, Ontario – The City of Lakes Family Health Team will have two (2) physician vacancies available in 2024! We are an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals, including 18 affiliated family physicians (Family Health Network), serving over 22,000 patients at four clinics across Greater Sudbury. Our team includes nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists, homecare coordinators and a virtual care coordinator. Telus Health PS Suites provides our Electronic Medical Record system. We provide patients with online appointment booking, virtual appointments and after hour clinics. New physicians on our team are eligible for the Northern and Rural Recruitment and Retention (NRRR) Initiative which offers a grant between $80,000-117,600 paid over a four-year period. Greater Sudbury is the healthcare capital of Northern Ontario and includes Health Sciences North hospital, the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University and the Northeast Ontario Regional Cancer Centre, among other healthcare agencies.
