Full Time Family Physician

North Woodlands Medical Centre

Brantford, Ontario

Opportunities for family physicians to take over established family practices in the growing community of Brantford & Brant County. Located in the picturesque Grand River Valley, 20 minutes west of Hamilton, the community offers outstanding recreational opportunities including endless biking and hiking trails in an unmatched natural playground. Brantford was named by Mclean's magazine as the "best city in Canada to buy real estate" in April 2018.

North Woodlands Medical Centre is located in Brantord in a large medical building with lab, pharmacy, physiotherapy and mental health social workers on site. Physicians are part of the Brantford FHO (27 physicians). This is an established practice group of 4 physicians sharing existing resources with space for additional physicians to join. The clinic uses PS Suite Telus Health EMR system.

Currently recruiting for full-time or part time family physicians to join the practice and the FHO.

Skill/training requirements: Medical Degree, Residency in Family Medicine, Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada and independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

Language of work: English

Wage: Practice is blended capitation model with payment provided via fee-for-service billing to the Ontario health Insurance Plan (OHIP), and payments based on the number of rostered patients with fee-for-service payments for other services.

Benefits package: Physician are eligible to apply for their own personal and professional benefits through the Ontario Medical Association or insurance provider of choice.
