Opportunities for family physicians to take over established family practices in the growing community of Brantford & Brant County. Located in the picturesque Grand River Valley, 20 minutes west of Hamilton, the community offers outstanding recreational opportunities including endless biking and hiking trails in an unmatched natural playground. Avenue Medical Centre is located in Brantford with close proximity to the Brantford General Hospital. The clinic has pharmacy, radiology, audiology and lab on site as well as obstetrics and general surgeons practice. Physicians are part of the Brantford FHO (9 physicians). This is an established practice group of 8 physicians sharing existing resources with space for more to join. The clinic uses EMR system Accuro.

Skill/training requirements: Medical Degree, Residency in Family Medicine, Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada and independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

Wage: Practice is blended capitation model with payment provided via fee-for-service billing to the Ontario health Insurance Plan (OHIP), and payments based on the number of rostered patients with fee-for-service payments for other services.
Benefits package: Physician are eligible to apply for their own personal and professional benefits through the Ontario Medical Association or insurance provider of choice.
