Effica Health is preparing to launch a publicly funded, referral-based virtual menopause and midlife health clinic in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. We invite family physicians and other physicians interested in menopause and women’s midlife health to learn about contract physician opportunities with Effica.

A Different Way to Practice Virtual Care

Effica’s multidisciplinary, technology-enabled model is designed to keep physicians focused on assessment, clinical judgment, shared decision-making, diagnosis, treatment and prescribing. Before the physician consultation, patients complete the Precision Health Scan and are supported by a Collaborative Care Practitioner who validates history and medications, identifies gaps, provides education and prepares structured clinical information for the consultation.

Physicians are supported by evidence-based pathways, integrated workflows, technology and operational support — allowing more time to focus on patient care.

Effica physicians practice independently within a collaborative team that includes family physicians, OB/GYNs, nurse practitioners, Registered Nurses and clinical pharmacists. The model combines specialized clinical expertise, interdisciplinary care and technology to improve access to high-quality menopause care.
