About Bellstone Family Medical Clinic

Bellstone Family Medical Clinic is a new, patient-focused family practice being developed in southwest Edmonton. Our goal is to create a modern, supportive clinic where physicians can provide high-quality primary care with strong administrative and operational support.

We are seeking family physicians and general practitioners who are interested in joining the clinic on a full-time, part-time or locum basis.

The Opportunity

The successful physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including:

• Conducting patient assessments, physical examinations and consultations
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions
• Providing preventive care, screening and health education
• Managing chronic diseases and coordinating ongoing patient care
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Referring patients to specialists and other healthcare providers when appropriate
• Promoting respectful, compassionate and patient-centred care

Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Hold, or be eligible to obtain, the appropriate registration and practice permit with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
• Be eligible to practise family medicine in Alberta
• Maintain appropriate professional liability coverage
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment skills
• Have experience or an interest in chronic disease management and preventive care
• Possess strong communication, interpersonal and documentation skills
• Be committed to ethical, respectful and patient-centred care
