About the Department Halton Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for you to support our growing surgical teams in the Halton region. We are seeking Family Medicine Surgical Assist Physicians to provide vital on-call surgical assistance at both Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Georgetown Hospital. This role is perfect for physicians wanting to maintain diverse clinical skills while choosing a schedule that fits their lifestyle.

Work in Oakville and Georgetown, two highly desirable, fast-growing communities just minutes outside Toronto. There are opportunities for both daytime elective surgical assisting, as well as after- hours on-call shifts supported by a HOCC stipend.
What We Are Looking For Successful applicants would participate in the surgical assist call schedule, with a minimum commitment of two shifts per month. Applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) and appropriate hospital privileges. Previous surgical assisting experience is an asset.
