
Community Psychiatrist
The Community Psychiatrist provides comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals across the full spectrum of mental disorders within a community-based outpatient setting. The role involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, formulating diagnoses, providing pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment, ongoing follow-up, risk assessment, and crisis management as required. Care is delivered through scheduled outpatient clinics and community-based consultations, with collaboration and referral to other health and social services as appropriate, but without embedded multidisciplinary team involvement. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, communicating with referring providers, and supporting continuity of care.
