Carleton University Health & Counselling Services (HCS) is seeking a Primary Care Physician with training or interest in 2SLGBTQ+‑affirming care, including the provision of gender‑affirming hormone therapy and gender-affirming surgery planning visits for transgender and gender‑diverse patients. Preferably 2 days/week coverage though open to discussing flexible alternatives.
HCS provides integrated, student‑centred physical and mental health care to students and staff. Our interdisciplinary team includes family physicians, psychiatrists, counsellors, and experienced clinical and administrative professionals.
We offer:
- Monday–Friday, appointment‑based practice with online booking
- Flexible schedules (full or half‑day clinics).
- Fee‑for‑service model with competitive overhead
- On‑site lab and pharmacy services
- Same‑day counselling access
- Full clinical and administrative support (RNs, RPNs, referrals, EMR, billing)
- Support of a physician in clinic who can do secondary surgery planning visits if needed for patient care.
Requirements:
Current CPSO licensure and CMPA coverage
