The Hospitalist’s primary duties are to provide care and services for all hospital in-patients while working alongside our multi-disciplinary team. Weeks are presently scheduled for 7 days at a time with handover happening on Friday morning at 0600 hours to the next Hospitalist on rotation. The Hospitalist is to be available during their call hours for new admissions to the medical floor, and participates in timely rounding and effective discharges for patients. The Hospitalist also participates in case conferences, meetings, consultations, transfers, etc. for patients as required with members of the care team. The Hospitalist communicates discharge plans to the receiving community physician or nurse practitioner in a manner that optimizes continuity of care.

Competitive stipend paid, $1500/daily.

Please reach out if you would be interested in any of the available weeks, or if you would like any further information regarding our Hospitalist rotation.
