FHO team of six family physicians is currently seeking a physician for seamless entry into an established and well managed family practice. Joining this dynamic and supportive FHO, there is the opportunity for flexibility of a hybrid model, with in-person and integrated virtual care options. The FHO team is supported by a family health team, additional information below. Our main location is in a newly renovated, bright and spacious suite as well as a satellite location in a nearby setting (75B Wallace Street, Eganville, ON, K0J1T0). Hospital privileges are available, however not mandatory. The local hospital also offers opportunities which include: ER shifts, Hospitalist, Surgical Assist, Obstetrics and Chemo Call. There is also the opportunity to work with long term care resident within the community as well as a monthly memory clinic.
Our clinic is located in Pembroke, Ontario, less than an hour and a half from Canada’s capital city and nestled along the shores of the Ottawa River. New physicians to the area are eligible for the Northern and Rural Recruitment and Retention Initiative. $84,760 is paid to qualifying physicians over four years.
Our FHO works with a FHT, which provides you with the support of an interdisciplinary team that includes nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, dietician, respiratory therapist, and chiropodist. This team focuses on providing your patients with a wide range of chronic disease management, disease prevention and health promotion programs.
