Job Description

 
 
Permanent Full time position.

Pain Care Clinic of Windsor, 2462 Howard Avenue, Windsor, ON N8X 3V6 wishes to recruit an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide Pain Medicine care services to patients of the Clinic, who suffer from Chronic Pain.  

We offer modern, efficient facilities with excellent administration and allied health practitioners in a collegial, professional environment to support your clinical practice. 

The successful candidate will be required to work with a practice mentor/supervisor, approved by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, for a period of 450 hours in order to demonstrate competency and satisfy College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario registration requirements.  This initial period of work will take place in our clinic located in St. Catharines Ontario:   300 Fourth Ave Unit D, St. Catharines, ON L2S 0E6

 Remuneration:  Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) Fee-for-service (approximately $200 per hour gross, subject to patient volumes)

Clinic hours: Monday to  Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm  (Flexible hours available within clinic operating hours.)

 

Job Requirements



Position Requirements:

Medical Degree, Residency Training as an Emergency Medicine Physician, and eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) is required.

Scope of practice includes interventional pain management and opiod management.  Prior experience treating patients with chronic pain is required. 

Ability to communicate in English /Criminal background check, as required by the CPSO
