Job Description

Kemptville District Hospital (KDH) is accepting applications for emergency room physicians. KDH is an acute care hospital in North Grenville (population 18,000) with inpatient medical, surgical and long-term care beds with outpatient and inpatient surgery. North Grenville is located 30 minutes from Ottawa.  Our 11-bed ER sees 20,000 plus visits per year and is staffed with one on site ER physician, funded by an AFA, and a second on call physician 24/7. Shifts are divided in three blocks of 8-10 hours. There is ​X-Ray, lab, and outpatient ultrasound is available on site.

Job Requirements
Physician applicants must be licensed to practice in Ontario and eligible to work in ER, preferably with rural ER work experience. Certification in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS are mandatory, NRP is strongly encouraged. CCFP - EM certification is not mandatory.
