LOOKING FOR A FULL TIME PHYSICIAN
Our well established medical office is looking for a full-time Physician to add to our growing practice as one of our full-time physicians is moving to another province . We take both walk-ins and new patients. We are located in the west end on 177 street near Callingwood Market. We have a convenient parking lot for patients and doctors. We see patients ranging from young families, and seniors. Fully equipped exam rooms.
Our team consists of excellent support staff, including 2 PCN nurses that do all minor treatments for physicians such as wart treatments, DLM, stitch removal, chronic disease management and many others. We also have a Rheumatologist and a Pediatrician who works once a week with us . We have an attached pharmacy in which we work closely with to establish the best care for our patients. We use paperless EMR, Healthquest. We are part of the Edmonton West Primary Care Network (EWPCN) which provide us with fast specialist care for our patients e.g. psychologist and counselling, social services, BHC, and many other services.
The physician must be licensed or eligible to apply for a license by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). For the eligible physicians, their qualifications and experience must comply with the CPSA guidelines. The physician income will be based on FFS billings to AHS. Overhead with the clinic will be 25% and 70% of income. All physicians are responsible for their registration fees to CPSA, CMPA and AMA.
